Traffic Management and Transport

A detailed traffic management plan has been prepared and agreed in conjunction with Lambeth Highways Department. Road closures and parking restrictions will be in place with resident’s access maintained on various streets in the vicinity and parking will also be prohibited at Streatham Common North and along Streatham Common South (Parkside).

The purpose of the road closures is to ensure minimal disruption to the road network around Streatham Common and those who regularly use it. The traffic management plan has been designed to help ensure a quicker dispersal of the audience at peak times and the restriction of unwanted vehicles using residential roads as a shortcut.
